have a look around this forum, it's a forum for tips on graphics, like, anything to do with photoshop and others, little tricks with using the software, how to open a siggy shop...

potterspensieve answers any questions you may have regarding graphics and all...or give you more info than i did...i just gave a brief description, as he's not online at present

I'm unfamiliar with Fireworks MX so I can not comment as to which is easier. I know Photoshop CS is used in the Graphic Design Industry more than any other program. That is what I know and teach.

that is true, photoshop is a very widely used program! i'm not familiar with fireworks, either...but it would be interesting to see the program!
